How deposit rules work

Per section: VIP sections require deposit, regular sections don't.

Per party size: parties of 8+ require deposit, smaller parties don't.

Per daypart: Saturday nights require deposit, midweek doesn't.

You can stack these — peak Saturday VIP requires deposit, midweek regular doesn't.

The flow

Guest requests a booking that hits a deposit-required rule.

AI confirms the booking details, then requests the deposit via Stripe link (or Apple/Google Pay where available).

Once payment confirms, the table is held. If payment doesn't complete, the hold expires and the table releases.

Cancellation handling

Set your cancellation window per section: 24h, 48h, 72h, etc.

Inside the window: deposit is refundable.

Outside the window: deposit charges per your policy.
