What restaurant AI does today

Front-of-house conversational: reservations, orders, FAQs, allergen handling, modifications in plain language across web and chat channels in 100+ languages.

Operations: floor plan editor with table CRUD, areas (indoor/outdoor/VIP), capacity rules, blackout dates, kitchen-hours enforcement.

Team management: shift publishing, PTO requests, shift trades and coverage, team chat (group + DMs), role-based permissions.

Payments: Stripe Connect with owner-default or per-restaurant payout accounts, subscription billing for AI conversations.

Analytics: revenue, AI conversation funnel, customer behavior, peak-time patterns, NPS for Enterprise.

What it does NOT do

Replace a POS — Aedan Rose is the conversational + operations layer, not the order management or KDS.

Dispatch delivery — orders are captured and paid, but delivery vendor coordination is your job (or you do pickup).

Phone/voice reservations — we have not shipped voice yet and will not claim it.

POS sync with Toast/Square/Clover.

Loyalty programs — we surface returning-customer analytics, but there is no points/rewards module.

White-label / custom branding — Enterprise plan flag exists, but the implementation hasn't shipped.

Why the honest scope matters

AI restaurant software is in the hype cycle, and most vendor pages exaggerate. The line above is what is actually shipped and verifiable in our codebase. When something on the "not yet" list ships, this page will be updated.
